We're Lucas and Jacio — the minds behind DogShip.

Lucas spent over a decade leading operations and strategy at companies like Walmart, Deloitte, EY, and 99. After co-founding a D2C wellness brand, he adopted Frida (a playful Staffy dog) and saw firsthand how dog daycares were growing… but still stuck in the past. That’s when the idea for DogShip was born.

Jacio started as a self-taught developer. Today, he’s the technical co-founder behind our entire stack — from the firmware that powers our smart collars to the apps that bring the data to life. He's been with DogShip since day one, building a product that actually works in the real world (with real dogs — and their unpredictable moods).

We’re not just building tech. We’re building trust between families and the places they leave their pets.

And yes, Frida is still our Chief Inspiration Officer.
